Certificates of attendance
Pre-registered participants will be given a certificate of attendance along with the Congress documentation.
Climate and clothing
The weather in Paris in April is usually mild, with an average temperature of 14°C. It is however recommended to bring a raincoat and a sweater in case of chilly evenings.
CME credits
The 3rd International Drug Hypersensitivity Meeting is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), www.uems.net.
The 3rd International Drug Hypersensitivity Meeting is designated for a maximum of 15 hours of European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
EACCME credits are recognized by the American Medical Association towards the Physician's Recognition Award (PRA). To convert EACCME credit to AMA PRA category 1 credit, contact the AMA.
Currency exchange
The French currency is the Euro. Banks are generally open every day from 9:00 to 17:00 from Monday to Friday. Some branches are open on Saturdays. The nearest automatic telling machine is located on level 1 of the Palais des Congrès. It accepts most international credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex) and operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. A foreign exchange office is located on level 1 of the Palais des Congrès. Foreign currency may also be obtained within main train stations, international airports, major banks and most large hotels.
Insurance & Liability
The organisers will accept no liability for personal injuries, for loss or damage of property sustained by participants during the Congress.
Participants are strongly advised to subscribe to an insurance policy covering health and accident, loss of luggage and trip cancellation.
Lunches & breaks
Morning and afternoon breaks and lunch boxes (for Friday 11th & Saturday 12th April) are included in the registration fees.
Official letters of invitation
Official letters of invitation may be sent to participants by the Congress Office upon written request for visa purposes.
